Making your own taco seasoning is very easy from common household spices. Plus, this one doesn't have any salt, though it doesn't skimp on flavor either, for those who need to watch sodium levels.
- 3 1/2 Tbsp chili powder
- 1/2 Tbsp chipotle chili powder
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp oregano
- 2 tsp paprika
- 2 Tbsp cumin
- 4 tsp coriander
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- Mix all seasonings together well and store in an airtight container.
Chef’s Note: If you don’t have chipotle chili powder, use an additional ½ tablespoon of regular chili powder instead.
