Soy Marinated Flank Steak
For faster preparation, marinate the steak the night before or that morning and refrigerate until ready to cook. Leftovers can be served with a salad the next day.

Ingredients
  • 1/3cup soy saucereduced sodium
  • 3tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 2tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 4cloves garliccrushed
  • 1teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 1/2pounds flank steak
Instructions
  1. In a large re-sealable plastic bag, combine all of the ingredients, except the steak. Mix the ingredients well.
  2. With the tines of a fork, poke holes in the steak. Add steak to the bag and mix well. Put in refrigerator to marinate overnight or all day.
  3. Remove steak from marinade and pat dry with paper towels. Cook meat, using either a broiler or a grill, for 5-8 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness.
  4. Put steak on cutting board and allow it to rest for at least 5 minutes. Cut the steak against the grain, on an angle, in thin slices.
