Ingredients
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 1 head broccoli, cut into florets (about 6 cups)
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper

  1. In a large skillet, cook the bacon until crisp. Transfer to a plate and crumble when cool enough to handle.
  2. Drain off about half of the bacon grease. Over medium heat, add the broccoli to the pan and cook, stirring often, for about 5 minutes. Add the tomatoes and cook for another 5 minutes or until broccoli is soft, stirring as needed. Season with pepper, sprinkle with crumbled bacon and serve.
Recipe Notes

Chef’s Note: If you’d like to “lighten” up this dish, you could cut the bacon amount in half to save on calories and fat.
