Ingredients
  • 3/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • 3/4 tsp minced garlic, divided
  • 1/4 tsp dried dill
  • 1 1/4 lb ground turkey breast
  • 6 halves sun dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/4 medium red onion, diced
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped and packed
  • 1/4 cup crumbled feta
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/3 cup Panko bread crumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 6 whole-grain hamburger buns

Instructions
  1. Prepare the yogurt sauce by combining yogurt, 1/4 tsp minced garlic, dill, and lemon juice. Stir well and place in the refrigerator while making the burgers.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, spinach, sun dried tomatoes, red onion, spinach, feta, ½ tsp minced garlic, oregano, bread crumbs, egg, salt and pepper. Stir well. Shape the mixture into 6 hamburger patties.
  3. Grill the burgers until cooked through, about 5 to 6 minutes per side. Burgers could be cooked in a non-stick skillet or broiled in the oven if preferred.
  4. Toast the buns then spread each half with yogurt sauce. Place the burger on the bottom bun and add any additional toppings like red onion or cucumber before topping with the bun top. Serve.
