Simplify It: Use frozen chopped broccoli instead of fresh for faster prep time. Just thaw it out first and drain any excess water from the broccoli before adding to the recipe.
Make Ahead: Assemble the dish up to 12 hours before serving, cover with plastic wrap and store in the refrigerator until ready to bake. Then bake according to directions above and serve.
Chef’s Note: We didn’t add any salt to this recipe because the Canadian bacon and cheese add quite a bit of salty flavor already. Of course, your family can always add salt at the table if they need more, but we don’t think they’ll need it!
