Chia Seed Overnight Oats
Overnight Oats are a quick and easy way to enjoy oatmeal year round. No cooking involved! They also make a great grab and go breakfast for those hectic mornings. Make a bunch at the beginning of the week and put in individual containers or mason jars in the refrigerator for the ultimate fast food breakfast.
  • 1/2cup rolled oats
  • 1/4cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2cup milk or milk alternative
  • 1tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/4cup raisins
  • Dash or two of cinnamon
  1. Combine all of the ingredients in a bowl and stir well. Place in refrigerator overnight.
  2. In the morning, the oatmeal is ready. It can be heated a bit in the microwave to take the chill off if you prefer. Add additional toppings of your choosing such as fresh fruit, nuts, seeds or peanut butter.
