Maple Glazed Apple Slices
This is a quick and easy side dish that is perfect for Thanksgiving or any fall festive occasion.
- 4 apples
- 2 Tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 Tbsp maple syrup
- 1 Tbsp water
- 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- Peel and core apples. Slice into 1/4-inch thick slices.
- In a large nonstick skillet, melt butter over medium high heat. Add apples and sauté until golden on both sides and tender.
- Stir in the maple syrup, water, lemon juice and cinnamon. Continue to cook a few more minutes until the apples are well coated.
