Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us at Lesley Ann Nutrition, Inc.  This Policy outlines our online information gathering practices and the choices you can make about how your information is collected and used.

Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal information about you other than what you provide us.  When you purchase our products or services, we ask that you provide us certain personal information: your name, e-mail address, shipping address, and credit card related information. This is the only personal information we collect.

Like most web sites, we use third party-provided automatic data collection technology when you visit our site to record non-personal usage information to identify your computer and its location, and to track and collect information about your use of our site. This usage information includes the sections of our site that you visited, the particular pages you looked at, and the amount of time you spent on each.  We collect usage information using “cookies” and pixel tags (also called web beacons or clear gifs), and we collect it from all site visitors whether or not they have given us their personal information.  Usage data helps us better understand our users’ interests so that we can improve our offerings and better serve our clients.  If you don’t want us putting cookies on your computer, you can turn them off in your web browser.  Your browser’s “help” tab will show you how to do this.  You can still use our site and place orders even if you turn cookies off.

How We Use Your Information

We will use your personal and usage information to respond to your requests and inquiries; provide you products and services; send you notices in the form of e-mails, mailings, and the like regarding the products or services you are receiving or updates to services, products, our website or other related matters which may be of interest to you; for billing and collection purposes; and for any other purposes which will be disclosed to you from time to time.

We may also use your information to improve our site, and/or our services, and may use cookies and other information to enable us to customize your user experience.

We, like many businesses, sometimes hire other companies to perform certain business-related functions.  Examples include mailing, maintaining databases, hosting, and payments processing.  When we employ other companies to perform functions of this nature, we provide them with the information that they need to perform their specific functions.  This may include your personal information.  If we or all, or substantially all, of our assets are acquired by another company, we expect that the information that we have collected, including your personal information, will be transferred along with our other business assets.

We may disclose your information to government authorities, and to other third parties when compelled to do so by government authorities or otherwise as required by law, including, but not limited to, in response to court orders and subpoenas. We also may disclose your information when we have reason to believe that someone is misusing, interfering with or causing injury to, our rights or property, other users of our services, or anyone else that could be harmed by such misuse, injurious acts or interference.

How We Protect Your Information

We take commercially reasonable steps to protect your personal information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Your credit card information is never transmitted over the Internet without industry-standard encryption.  Please understand, however, that no security system is impenetrable. We cannot guarantee the security of our databases, nor can we guarantee that the information you supply us will not be intercepted while being transmitted to and from us via the Internet. In particular, e-mail sent to or from us may not be secure, and you should take special care in deciding what information you send us via e-mail.

Our site and services may contain content, services, advertising and other materials that link to external sites. We do not partner with or have special relationships with ad server companies.  We do not share your personal information with any website advertising partners.  Lesley Ann Nutrition does not endorse and is not responsible for the content of any such external sites.
